Usually, but with you, it’s different. With you, I mean it.
None lately. I used to be really hooked to Farmtown and Pet Society and Restaurant City and Legends of the 5 Rings. Nakakatamad din kasi minsan eh.
-
- IN summer’s heat, and mid-time of the day,
- To rest my limbs, upon a bed I lay;
- One window shut, the other open stood,
- Which gave such light as twinkles in a wood,
- Like twilight glimpse at setting of the sun,
- Or night being past, and yet not day begun;
- Such light to shamefaced maidens must be shown
- Where they may sport, and seem to be unknown:
- Then came Corinna in her long loose gown,
- Her white neck hid with tresses hanging down,
- Resembling fair Semiramis going to bed,
- Or Lais of a thousand wooers sped.
- I snatched her gown being thin, the harm was small,
- Yet strived she to be covered therewithal,
- And striving thus as one that would be cast,
- Betrayed herself, and yielded at the last.
- Stark naked as she stood before mine eye,
- Not one wen in her body could I spy.
- What arms and shoulders did I touch and see,
- How apt her breasts were to be pressed by me,
- How smooth a belly under her waist saw I,
- How large a leg, and what a lusty thigh.
- To leave the rest, all liked me passing well;
- I clinged her naked body, down she fell:
- Judge you the rest, being tired she bade me kiss;
- Jove send me more such afternoons as this!

Tokyo, London, New York, Seoul, Paris… rolling in dough!
I’m an urbanite through and through. I love the energy of big, bustling cities. I can’t stay in beaches, forests,or wherever for long. I’ll get restless. I love bumping into people, I love watching people interact with each other, I love bright lights, I love big cities, I love the noise, the energy, the movement of it all. I love the words, I love the incessant consumerist catcalls from store displays, I love the music seeping through other people’s headphones, I love the muck beneath my leather shoes, I love discovering holes-in-the-wall places that serve one-of-a-kind cuisine, I love getting lost in bookstores, I love exchanging glances with beautiful strangers and their lovers. I love the city. I am the city. That is my rabbit hole.
Yes. Already voted in two elections. Will vote again this year because I want to give “automated polls” a chance to make a difference. Maybe—JUST MAYBE—we have a better chance of a cleaner elections because things will be automated. But this is going to be a make-or-break voting year for me. If there’s still massive cheating despite of the automation, then my heart will be tremendously broken, and I’ll swear off voting.
Never. I have a very supportive family who stands by my life choices.
Pero here’s the thing. I didn’t come from a rich family, I came from a low income, lower class household. Yet, my parents NEVER made money an issue when it comes to pursuing my career path/goals. Kahit pare-pareho kaming walang pera, ni-minsan di ko naramdaman yung pressure from them to give up art and literature for more lucrative careers.
Walang time. Pag nakaluwag, I’ll watch it again.
Kasi I’m confident enough to wear long sleeved shirts thanks to Gilette gel stick which I use! :)
Marginalized. Madalas nasusubject kaming mga pogi sa mga hate crimes because of our “otherness”.
Alam ko, nakakarelate ka. Pogi ka rin eh.
Check out Paolo Manalo’s “Jolography”, and Ricardo De Ungria’s “Decimal Places”.
Glad to hear that! Iba talaga ang gawa ng Pinoy!
Kasi, “CJ” ang initials ko. My friends from high school call me Siege way before pa, and I’m a gamer too, so very natural ang dating ng Siege as a nickname to me.
Yeah! Siguro, favorite ko si Jenny. Kasi she loved Forrest for his uniqueness. I like the scene where Forrest met his son.
ISA sa mga movie na gusto kong gawing required viewing ay ang “Xiu Xiu: The Sent Down Girl”. Have you seen it?
