Part 1 (I love this Mini Series) - Yeah, I am a copywriter. The nature of my job involves staring into space for long periods of time trying to squeeze something out of my little brain, making sure the celebrity host’s mic is turned on, and coming up with more ridiculous items for Bring Me as humanely possible.

It’s great to hear your brother competes at something. I think we Filipinos need to be MORE COMPETITIVE, and LESS AGGRESSIVE. It smells smack of insecurity how people REACT to issues without ever PROVING ANYTHING. We can’t just rah-rah ourselves under a battlecry without having proven it first. Really, really glad to know someone (somewhat) personally to be competitive. I’m very, very competitive too.

I don’t know about the “Into the Same Stuff as I Am” Bit thought. Is he also into hiring male prostitutes so he can snort crack in their belly buttons? I like that on my Tuesdays. On Thursdays, I’m really into French black and white films, and I don’t understand a damn thing, so I turn on the Spanish subtitles (which I understand a bit of) and I read it out loud, trying to roll my R’s to hear how it would sound like in Mexico.

I’m also into stalking people who look like me. So, when I see someone who I think vaguely resembles me, I introduce myself, then I get their names, then, I Google them, trying to know as much as I can about them, then I slowly work myself into their lives (befriending their friends, mastering their interests). Gradually, I reach out to them more and more, escalating from exchanging text messages to phone calls, to late night phone calls, to phone calls that last the whole night, until I know enough about them that I can slit their throats in some seedy motel, replace them in their lives, and no one will know better. I mean, after all, how well do Siege Malvar’s friends know how he really looks like?
